Hidden Hills

Ok, so Sunday we headed off to a yet unseen spot that is supposed to be the mecca of all things gardening…Hidden Hills. We drove over to Indiana and found the mecca…actually I think what the person meant was “eccentrica” of all things gardening. We were going to participate in their annual “Kite Flying Day” but since the wind bunnies were not even sneezing, we couldn’t get our kite off the ground. But we did have a really fun time taking facebook pictures all over the place with their weird and unique yet strangely random objects that are in their gardens. We bought some ceramic toadstools to put into my gardens (if we can ever be completely over winter) and we had the picnic lunch we brought with us. So I will say this…Hidden Hill really is hidden, ecclectic and enjoyable. Worth the drive? Probably because they had some pretty unique plants too. Fun for a Sunday in any case.
